Bureau Veritas ADT WFDCL test lab accepts test bookings for 3.5GHz TDD profile Fixed WiMAX certificate test from Mar. 2008

Bureau Veritas ADT WFDCL test lab is replicating testing capacity of the profile 3.5T2 for 3.5GHz, TDD, 3.5MHz band from the lead lab. Therefore, Bureau Veritas ADT WFDCL test lab can accept test booking for Fixed WiMAX certificate test from March. It is a good news for the manufacturers to certificate their product time to market.

In Brazil, Anatel has issued a new standard for fixed WiMAX
Brazil Telecom Authority, Anatel, has approved a new standard for the certification and homologation of transmitters and digital transceivers for the fixed service, point-to-multipoint applications at frequencies above 1GHz. The new standard - Resolution No.492 - approved on Feb.19, 2008.
The previous standard of similar subject - Resolution No.368 issued on May 13, 2004 - has been revoked and replaced by this new standard.
