In
Brazil, Anatel has issued a new standard for fixed WiMAX
Brazil
Telecom Authority, Anatel, has approved a new standard for the certification
and homologation of transmitters and digital transceivers for the
fixed service, point-to-multipoint applications at frequencies above
1GHz. The new standard - Resolution No.492 - approved on Feb.19,
2008.
The previous standard of similar subject - Resolution No.368 issued
on May 13, 2004 - has been revoked and replaced by this new standard.
