Veritas ADT developing 2nd OTA Chamber for WiMAX RPT Bureau Veritas ADT is glad to announce that we have ordered ETS-Lindgren's fully anechoic chamber and measurement system with Agilent Mobile test sets including Mobile WiMAX, 2G and 3G solutions. The OTA chamber will be used for WiMAX Radiated Performance Test(RPT), 2G and 3G Handset OTA Measurement, Wi-Fi OTA Measurement and Antenna Measurement System. Besides, the RPT will be implemented from Certification Wave 2 Phase 2 and ADT's facility will be ready before then. top |

| M-Taiwan
program will start its conformance test and interoperability test
at early April. M-Taiwan Office will announce the test case list.
The conformance test includes PCT & RCT, which should be performed in a M-Taiwan lab. These test cases are selected from the test cases defined by WiMAX Forum. For M-Taiwan IOT test, all test cases are defined to follow 16e's basic network entry procedure, and the M-Taiwan IOT test is performed in M-Taiwan IOT center. After completing the M-Taiwan conformance test interoperability test, M-Taiwan lab will generate a test report that will then be reviewed by a "Technical Review Meeting". If there is no problem with the test result, a M-Taiwan logo will be issued and applied on the device. top |

accelerate the certification test in every WFDCL, WiMAX Forum CWG
has a scaling plan. WiMAX CWG will hold several training programs between April and May in order to scale certification testing of Profile 3A. For the first training session from Apr 7th to Apr 11th, WiMAX Forum CWG plans to host it at ADT (the 1st WFDCL in Taiwan). This training will invite all PCT & RCT test equipment vendors, including Agilent, Anite, AT4 and R&S. And all WFDCLs are requested to join this training. top |

WiMAX Certification Statue Seminar WiMAX Forum CWG (Certification Working Group) had a face-to-face meeting on March 12~15, 2008 in Orlando, USA. In order to update vendors on the messages from the meeting, Bureau Veritas ADT held a seminar on March 26th in its head office. In addition to WiMAX Forum and M-Taiwan schedule updates, we demonstrated directions of CRSL (Certification Requirements Status List) and WiMAXCert Tool Website. As for the certification testing schedule in Taiwan that every vendor is being concerned about, we also announced as below in the seminar. (1) 16d Fixed WiMAX: Bureau Veritas ADT has replicated capacity of the 16d Fixed WiMAX 3.5T2 profiles (3.5GHz TDD mode) on March 14th and has accepted booking for 16d Fixed WiMAX testing and certification since March, 2008. (2) 16e 3A Mobile WiMAX: Bureau Veritas ADT expects to conduct PCT & RCT testing at its own lab from May 1st, 2008. (3) M-Taiwan: Bureau Vertias ADT can accept booking for testing and certification once M-Taiwan Office announces the test cases. We expect M-Taiwan Office would announce in April.
