Bureau Veritas ADT WiMAX service timeline

Bureau Veritas ADT can perform Fixed WiMAX Certification Testing Service for 3.5GHz TDD mode from March 2008
Bureau Veritas ADT is now ready to perform formal Fixed WiMAX Certification test (for 3.5 GHz, 3.5 M Hz, TDD). In Fixed WiMAX wave 2 certification test, we will conduct Protocol Conformance Test (PCT), Radio Conformance Test (RCT) and Interoperability Test (IOT). Compared with Fixed WiMAX Wave 1 certification test, wave 2 certification induces many test cases, especially in security and QoS functions.

Bureau Veritas ADT can perform M-Taiwan Logo Certification Testing Service from April 07, 2008
Regarding to M-Taiwan project, for any WiMAX devices applying to M-Taiwan project, it 's necessary for those WiMAX devices to conduct the "M-Taiwan Logo Certification Test" in a M-Taiwan Lab (Bureau Veritas ADT has been selected as a M-Taiwan Lab by M-Taiwan Office in 2006). In a "M-Taiwan Logo Certification Testing", M-Taiwan Lab will perform conformance and interoperability tests defined by M-Taiwan office, and a detailed test case list has been released by M-Taiwan Office. After on site auditing by M-Taiwan Office on April 1st, 2008, Bureau Veritas ADT demonstrates its WiMAX test capability and has been approved to perform formal "M-Taiwan Logo Certification Testing Service" from April 7th, 2008.

Plan to do Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing Service for 3A 2.5GHz on May 1st, 2008
To accelerate 16e certification test (for 3A profile), the serial training programs are held by WiMAX Forum CWG to transfer testing technology to every WFDCL from April to May in 2008. Following the schedule, Bureau Veritas ADT will provide formal 16e PCT & RCT pre-test service from May 1st, 2008. And these test results are allowed to apply to real certification test, which means vendors don't have to re-test passed test cases again if they want to do a full certification test.

Reporting: WiMAX Forum Congress Asia 2008
WiMAX Forum Congress Asia 2008 held on April 9th and 10th, has now closed with a great success. In addition to the comprehensive agenda covering the most topical and timely issues, a trading show was organized and offered a platform for vendors to showcase their latest products and techniques. Bureau Veritas ADT, along with other WFDCLs, had a booth to demonstrate our WiMAX testing and certification services and attracted lots of vendors to visit. A frequently asked question most visitors were interested in is when the mobile WiMAX certification testing service will be available. At Bureau Veritas ADT, we expect it will be available from May 1st. As for fixed WiMAX and M-Taiwan logo certification testing services, they have been available at our lab. top
