can I apply for a WiMAX Forum Certification? |

WiMAX
Forum developed an integrated application system called WiMAXCert
Tool. All WiMAX Forum Certification projects have to be applied
through this website. |

Login WiMAX Forum Member website
2. Roll down to the bottom of the "Member Home" page. There
is a column named "Certification Resource", and click the link
named "WiMAX Forum Certification Program and labs".
3. You can find and click a blue tab named "Click her to access
WiMAXCert" to reach WiMAXCert Tool. |

can I get a WiMAXCert account? |

If
you are a principle member, you can get an account through WiMAX
Forum Website. Please remember one Principle Member Company
can have 2 WiMAXCert accounts only.
If you are not a principle member, you are not authorized to
use WiMAXCert and apply Certification Testing. |

What
documents we will meet after registering on WiMAXCert? |

You
will get a copy of Laboratory Standard Terms and Conditions
and an NDA. Both of them are the attachments behind Certification
Testing Agreement that signed between WiMAX Forum and Bureau
Veritas ADT. Laboratory Standard Terms and Conditions is just
the information for you, and you don't have to sign. All you
need to sign is 2 copies of NDA and send one of signed copy
back. |

Which
level of position should sign the Laboratory Standard Terms
and Conditions with NDA? |

The
person signing the NDA needs to be somebody within the company
that has been assigned the responsibility to do so within the
company. There is no special requirement from the WiMAX Forum
so far. |

What
agreement I have to sign before I get a certificate? |

Declaration
of Conformity and Certification Mark License Agreement should
be signed before vender gets the WiMAX certificate. |

I
am an ODM/OEM. I and our customer are both principle members.
May I apply the certification test of their product on behalf
of my customer? |

According
to the current policy, the owner of the product shall be the
only one that can apply for certification for such product. |

Shall
we not list our certified products on WiMAX Forum website? |

To
list your product on WiMAX Forum website needs your approval.
WiMAX Forum allows each vendor lists their certified product
after the approved date that the vendor agrees. |

Fee

I
am an ODM. If I want to assemble the Certified WiMAX module
that has been sold and assembled on first module to the first
product on second end product and want sell it to second Company
without changing any part of WiMAX module, should we apply for
a certification and pay the logo fee again? |

According
to the WiMAX Forum's reply, the Certification Logo Fee is needed
for different series of product family. It means the second
end product should be applied for a certification and paid the
logo fee. |

Please
wire Logo Fee to Bureau Veritas ADT, and we will forward it
to WiMAX Forum. |
Testing

How
do I know the test plan? |

The
test plan will be generated automatically for WiMAXCert after
you complete PICS, PIXIT and UUT.
If you have any question about test plan, WCB will help you. |

can I see the test report? |

The
test report will be generated from WiMAXCert tool when the certification
is finished. Vender can visit WiMAXCert to download the test
report. The function will be available shortly.
At this moment, we will provide the electronic copy to you after
completing whole certification test. |

Do
I have time to set up our equipments before doing PCT, RCT,
IOT¡Ketc? |

Sure,
you will have enough time to set up the equipment before starting
each of test cases. |
