NEC announced 2.5GHz WiMAX certified product portfolio. Their certification lab Bureau Veritas ADT presented congratulations.

NEC had a press conference on August 28th to announce that they have successfully completed the WiMAX certification process for their 2.5GHz base station and mobile subscriber unit. As one of the first manufacturers to receive 2.5GHz certification, NEC presented their appreciation in the conference to Bureau Veritas ADT who provided full assistance during the certification. Tim Hong, Vice President of Bureau Veritas ADT, was invited to have a speech of congratulations. "This result has been achieved thanks to team work between NEC and Bureau Veritas ADT involved." said Hong. It is an important milestone for the WiMAX industry in Asia since they are the first WiMAX devices certified outside Spain.

WiMAX and Wi-Fi Certification Seminar

The seminar will focus on WiMAX Forum and Wi-Fi Alliance product certification. In addition to the topics including latest Wi-Fi testing standards, WiMAX RPT test cases and WCB, we will also specify the latest updates on CWG 2.5Hz/3.5GHz certification in order to help vendors testing and certifying their products.

Bureau Veritas ADT, one of the most complete WFDCLs for WiMAX certification and testing services, has now gained the trust from other WFDCLs to provide the necessary support on subcontracted testing and WCB review work.

Make your booking earlier! WiMAX Mobile 3.5GHz profile certification will start from October 1st

Since the active date for WiMAX Mobile 3.5GHz profile certification has been set for October 1st, 2008, WiMAX Forum informed Bureau Veritas ADT that we can start taking reservations for WiMAX mobile 3.5GHz profile testing commenting 25 August, 2008. Please make your booking earlier if you are the vendors developing such devices.

WiMAX Forum Taiwan Member Meeting

WiMAX Forum Taiwan Member Meeting organized by WiMAX Forum Taiwan Office and ITRI will take place on Sep. 17th in Taipei. This time, Agilent is the co-organizer and they will have a lecture on "Mobile WiMAX: Wave 2 and Beyond" and "WiMAX Wave 2 Testing: MIMO & STC" respectively. Bureau Veritas ADT is also invited to have a speech on "Latest WiMAX Forum Certification Status".
