Start of Certification Testing for Profiles MP09. MP10, MP12

During WiMAX Forum CWG F2F meeting held on Nov. 5 in Dallas, the CWG executive committee reviewed case coverage for PCT, RCT and MIOT for the following certification profiles MP09, MP10 and MP12. The executive committee has decided to begin certification testing, effective Monday, Nov. 10th, with the existing test case coverage. RCT test case MS09 is undergoing validation and this test case will also be required for the completion of any MS being certified to profiles MP09, MP10, or MP12.
Now, Bureau Veritas ADT has acquired complete capabilities of PCT, RCT and MIOT certification testing and can offer associated services for the profiles above.

Bureau Veritas ADT receiving WFDVL certificate from WiMAX Forum

Bureau Veritas ADT, recognized as a WiMAX Forum Designated Validation Laboratory (WFDVL) on September, has received the formal certificate for PCT from WiMAX Forum CWG recently. The role of WFDVL entitles our lab to validate testing platforms that meet the requirements of the WiMAX Forum as defined by CWG. This certification attests to the trust that WiMAX Forum has in our ability to only pass test case validations that successfully meet Forum's strict guidelines.

Argentina awards 3.3 - 3.7 GHz for wireless broadband networks

Argentina's government intends to award spectrum at 3.3 - 3.7 GHz for wireless broadband networks. The availability of these key bands for WiMAX technology in Argentina will accelerate the process of providing Argentine citizens with broadband connectivity across the diverse economic and social needs of the entire population.

Additional Sessions for RF and EMC Certification & Testing Seminar on 11/26 and 11/27

Due to no vacancy available on the 11/19 and 11/20 RF and EMC Certification & Testing Seminar, Bureau Veritas ADT decides to have additional sessions on 11/26 and 11/27 in order to satisfy more requests for registration. From now on, only registration for 11/26 and 11/27 is accepted. We also encourage those who have registered for 11/19 or 11/20 change their registration to 11/26 or 11/27 session if they are available then.

The seminar will focus on RF and EMC certification. In addition to the topics including latest RF and EMC testing standards, FCC/CE test items and digital products testing requirements, we will also demonstrate the difference between the new and old versions of EN55022, and specify the testing statutes on Japan WiMAX in order to help vendors testing and certifying their products.
