WiMAX Forum Open Retail 1a MS Certification Program is coming soonWiMAX Forum CWG announced new schedule of Open Retail 1a for MS during Xian Face-to-Face meeting. It is originally scheduled to start from April, and recently shifted to May in some day due to various validation issues. CWG Chair, Ed Agis, mentioned the 1a MS certification will be started once few testing issues have been resolved. It may be CRSL "10.X" (10.1 or 10.2 or 10.x ...etc). All Certifications starting on or after May 2010 shall follow Open Retail Certification requirement once it is launched. Regulatory Update: Wi-Fi Protected SetupTest Plan: replace version 1.10 with version 1.11. For the next 90 days, until 14 July, either version of the test plan may be used. Testbeds: remove all references to Sony in the NFC testing. NFC will be supported by NXP only. This applies to both the test plan and the tech ops manual. For the next 90 days, until 29 July, Sony’s equipment may continuously be used in certification. After 29 July, only NXP’s equipment may be used for NFC certification. |

Bureau Veritas ADT is authorized as a CATL for CTIA Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC) testingBureau Veritas ADT was approved by CTIA, The Wireless Association, as a CTIA Authorized Testing Laboratory (CATL) for CTIA Hearing Aid Compatibility testing. The accreditation was effective on May 3, 2010. We now have Converged Device, HAC and OTA Performance CTIA Authorized Testing Capabilities.
